Send a msg to dispatch with your arrival time, time u got in door, and time you got your bills, and ask for detention pay. Just remember miller,bud, glass plants,menards, and most paper places dont pay detention pay. What two customers are they the 12hr one sounds like the whse in bolingbrook il where we pick up smirrnoff. Check your pays stubs for the a few weeks ago, if you didnt get payed detention send a msg to your dispatch about it. See why you didnt get it. I have had good luck getting detention as long as its not miller or bud.

 

The first one was st Bernard soap. The one I just left was quad graphics spent 15 hours there.

 

St. benard soap has always been a drop (double) and hook for me. same with Quad, Aside from being early for an appt. don't think I have waited more than a couple hours on any load.

 

Quad you might get detention for. St. Bernie not so much its the place 14 hour clocks go to die if it isn't ready when you get there.

 

i was in and out of quad in less than an hour both times. never had the "pleasure" of bernard.

 

Being out of trenton you will some day. Its not bad when the load is ready. Not a ton of room to back and a sharp right turn to get there. Other than that isn't bad. Bring a pen inside with you.

 

Sitting in atl waiting on a load assignment. Hopefully this won't be another slow week.

i always bring a pen with me. had a tricky alley dock today in pine city,ny. got about 4" from the wall with the trailer just to make it. now headed to michigan. first time there. gps routed me thru canada and i was like um NO! caught it very fast since the miles were about 90 less than what dispatch said it paid. that could have been a cluster. remember to always check your route before you start driving.

 

That's why I turn off border crossings on mine.
