waiting to deliver in the am in new jersey. sitting next to a trans am truck with a apu and reefer. can't figure out if it sounds like someone is cutting grass or a go cart

 

Sitting in NY at a TA off 84 waiting for my tire to be fixed. Came from Versailles CT and stopped at the Pilot in Newburgh NY. Noticed that one of my drive tires was flat to the ground.

The service lady was super nice. She gave me a coupon for 20% off at the restaurant and a free shower coupon. Headed to Michigan for tomorrow. At this rate I don't see myself hitting 3000 this week but we will see I guess.

 

came back out today from a wonderful 4 day weekend. got to pet some penguins and had a lorakeet licking my ears. it was weird. got dispatched and went to get the trailer and it hadnt been serviced since january so i didnt take that load. instead i got one for new york that delivers in the am.

 

Sitting in Dalton getting live unloaded. That's different! Just finished the Athens, TN loop from Columbia, SC. I got my truck back from the Cartersville shop on Tuesday and no more exhaust leak! I swear it was affecting my brain.

Oh yeah, on the way up I26 dispatch asked me to stop at Freighliner in Asheville, NC and test drive a new Cascadia that had to get the clutch fixed. They wanted to test it out under a load, so I hooked it to my trailer and took it for a 30 minute joy ride! Nice truck! Only had 10,000 miles on it. Turning that truck back over was like having to take a Cristmas present back on Christmas morning. I told dispatch, any time they wanted to give me one of them new Cascadias it was OK with me!

sitting at home truck in shop in trenton took it in for B service found other issues so gotta wait on parts if i,m lucky they will be there tomorrow but could be as late as monday

 

I'm sitting in Valdosta for the night and I beat my record on elogs. I pulled in with a big fat zero on the clock! Not in violation but barely made it. That was close!

picked up at owens by weedsport and some ####### gypsm driver decided to block the way out to clean out his trailer and then got pissed at me when i asked him to move. he told me to back up and swing around more and i might fit. i almost told him that the knife in my pocket might fit in his eye socket. but i just got back in the truck and inched closer to him so he moved. now after tonight here in pennsylvania its off to albany georgia.

 

Over on what? Post trip is on duty you can be on duty for a million hours straight, the 11/14/70 only effect driving.

That sounded a bit snippy when I reread it, I mean as far as violations go it won't but you in a violation. Unless you drive the truck.

 

Sitting in GA had a 2 stop beer load out of Trenton coming off home time. First drop was in Salisbury NC second is in Winder GA. Got home a day late for home time stayed in a day extra so no real complaints. 3 straight weeks of 2800+ miles, plus a bunch of extra stops one week. Got to meet EMT3508 at trenton hopefully he found Chi Bev and didn't get lost with my no right turn directions.
