im not slow. 3000 miles since wednesday.

 

Hey all! I hit the "no loads" today. Camping out in Alabama.

sitting in chattanooga across from the chattanooga choo choo. while being unloaded i saw a parade of model A fords and model T fords. good thing i had my camcorder cause there had to have been 50 or so.

 

Got a three stop load from The Tile Shop next to the Eden yard. Sitting in Commerce GA and will make my last two stops in Atlanta in the morning.

 

yeah got me a 189 mile run from rock tenn chattanooga..which is a dump btw. to cherokee alabama for anytime tomorrow. i was down to 10 on my 70. dont gain tonight but do gain tomorrow night. so we will see where the wind takes me next

 

Anyone know how paying for a solo room works? Going to Trenton. Do they pay the roommate part and I pay the diff or do I have to pay for all up front? They told me I had to pay if I wanted to do it but not how much/when. Maybe I should just do the roommate thing cause I am going to be a roommie with whomever I train with right?

They will deduct $10 per week from your check once you start receiving them. If you are in a room by yourself it will just take twice as long to pay it back. You have no upfront costs for lodging. Keep copies of your hotel receipts for your own records, especially if you don't spent every night in the hotel. Also, if you take a road trip while in training, you are not responsible for the room while you are away from your home terminal.

 

Anyone else having problems with Sirius/XM. Mine has been out since Saturday. I keep calling them and they say it's a problem with thier system and the enginers are working on it. Just curious.

 

When the hurricane was here mine started acting up. Simce then it has been hit and miss, Talked to a couple other drivers and theirs are skippy also. Driving me crazy!
