Well slow day at trenton so i am just taking my hometime a couple days early. See ya all next week.

 

I think regional calls it the weekend, not hometime. LOL

 

well i wont be back till wednesday so it is hometime for me. lol was out for 3 1/2 weeks

 

Dlv to Menard's at 5am tomorrow then hometime. Finishing up a crappy crappy 2.5 weeks out. Miles,Loads,sitting, you name it, it sucked this week. Including 2 multi stops in downtown Chicago and a Multi Stop in Holy crap I can see the grass growing at the Capitol Building Downtown DC.

Yeah I'm glad I didn't go last night. I drove in this morning and missed the turn onto the road before Krug st and ended up past 82 back in the slummy looking part of Albany.

 

So Thursday was a hell of a day. Started off by hitting a deer. Later in the afternoon as I was heading back to the shop to have the damage looked at the engine started acting up. Friday morning it finally was pulled into the shop and it was smoking bad. Turns out the engine is toast. Dropped compression in three cylinders and warrantee ran out 50,000 miles ago. They moved me to a slightly newer truck and ran to Albany and to the house.

 

Now that you know where it is, you can sleep there if you want, but everyone drops those on the yard and the day cab runs them over. How long did you wait to get unloaded?

 

I didnt. They told me to take it over to our yard and drop it. Now after I dropped it was a different story. I dropped it at 10am. Took three hours to get my next load. Went over to Georgia pacific at 230. Didn't get loaded and out of there until almost 7. I had 2.5 hours left so I just decided to stay in Albany for the night.

 

I think everyone has been sitting a bit. I have been low on miles myself. I will end this week with 19xx miles. I have taken a reset 2 weekends in a row.
