Miller loads are released in bunches every few hours. There will be drivers waiting then it's a mad dash for everyone to get to the brewery. It's been like that a lot lately.

 

yeah on my way to trenton i counted about 11 millis trucks headed out down 127. I was like oh great not gonna be anything left for me lol. Good weekend to take hometime.

On another note, I got my iPhone turned back on and it has immediately started paying for itself. I saved a bunch of time today avoiding a traffic snarl in Nashville due to a titans game. Google maps and the realtime traffic are lifesavers.

 

Saw your truck at cartersville today. They were working on it and eventually pulled it out and parked it. It was still puffing out white smoke.

 

oh yeah I saw that, brain fart, lol

 

They told me it would be a month before that truck would be on the road again. That's why they switched me into a different truck permanently.

I think partly because it's out of warrantee and they are going to rebuild in Cartersville.

So its been awhile since I posted..keep saying ill post more often but always get sidetracked and busy with something else....so just an update..my student passed his CDL test and got his license. He is going to test out in Cartersville this friday since that's when I have hometine set...so he's looking forward to getting out on his own. He will do just fine. Miles have been pretty steady for us here lately..ending this week with slightly over 4,000 for the week! We've just been rolling with whatever dispatch gives us...no need for team driving. So been letting him get all the wheel time he can get
