There is nothing to be ashamed of by earning money playing blackjack. If you are a good counter, then you should take advantage of it. You will be beating the house, rather than beating the other players. As for your truck, white smoke and falling coolant means a blown head gasket to this shade tree mechanic. Try to get the repair done near a casino, because I would bet a top end rebuild can take a week.

could you count some cards for me and win me some money? lol

to L.B, i was wondering how those regional Kw 660's are set up, and also just how much room is in the bunk? i also wanted to know if your a Georgia regional driver how likely is it to make it south south Florida(Tampa Area) and do they run out of the region?
-
Well let's see if I can answer your questions...
To start, regional trucks are cut down versions of the OTR trucks. That means all the cabinets are gone, the area between the bunk and the drivers seat is gone to save weight. The 660s had to cut even more out because they are so much heavier than the freightliners so the bed itself is only about 30 inches wide and it's still about 700 lbs heavier than the Cascadias. There is very little room to move in the 660 and getting dressed can be a challenge since I am too tall to stand upright in one.
I am a Georgia regional driver. We do go down to the Tampa area from time to time to pick up yuengling but we don't ship enough of it to hire drivers out of florida, that I know of, if that's what you are asking. The farthest south I've been with MILLIS is Venice, FL.
We can and do run out of the southeast region and they will ask you via Qualcomm every week if someone wants to run on the weekend or out of the region. -
Thanks everyone for the comments. I'm at Cummins now, still waiting to here hear something. I went to the Luminere (spelling) casino this morning. I got lucky enough to have a black jack table to myself long enough until another experienced player showed up. I walked out +225 and came to Cummins. I could have stayed but I wanted to make sure I got here incase they had any questions on what the truck was doing etc. It felt good to play again and I'm going to put the winnings in my safe for next time. Wish I was on the road making money.

Hope everyone had a good thanksgiving weekend! I just came back out today with a load out of Philly headed to Trenton. Picked my truck up from cummins this morning. I had dropped it off before I went home due to a turbo actuator fault code. Apparently something seized in the turbo and that's what was causing my problems. Seems ok now, turbo is much quieter. We will see how she does under load. Can't say ill notice much with this empty pallet load but hopefully they got it fixed right. Ill be going over the mountains this evening so hopefully they have the turnpike nice and dry!

0Ttruck is almost done. Egr cooler their gonna run her and see if she throws any fault codes. I've decided that since I've been up all day and most of all night I am going to spend the night here in ST Louis and go out in the morning when opie comes on duty. Being tired and a rookie probably doesn't mix well. My casino winnings will supplement this lost of day well, and ill try to make up for it this week by running hard. I still need to go to richfield for permits, been telling em.
