Money. Plus beer is slow this time of year. Will have a little pickup before christmas as the dist. get the supply for New Years. This is the time of year the Brewery and Glass Plants start shutting down lines for yearly mant. Also depends on the freight lanes you are in if they have to broker something to get you moving.

Delivered in Kennesaw yesterday morning. Sat all day NLA. Was about to hop into bed at 2130 and got load info for a load from Atlanta to North Carolina for a 0600 delivery. Wasn't gonna happen since I wouldnt be able to start until early AM. So this morning I got dispatched to Indiana. Kinda bummed though as I sit here in Indiana. I'm supposed to be home in an hour in PA. Doesn't look promising lol.

Delivered to Doe Run Company in Boss Missouri today. Its a pretty cool place just not fun getting in and out of back roads in the middle of nowhere. Got preplanned to pick up in Trenton Illinois by 2200 I got there at 2205 but they were nice enough to load me anyways. 9000 pounds of freight later I started heading towards cherokee Alabama. Load is supposed to deliver tomorrow morning at 11 won't be there until about 1630. I 55 Exit 80 Benton Missouri for my ten, intersection of US. 77 took left at ramp convenience store with diesel pumps and big lot. Only one other truck here right now, speaks overnight parking to me though. Hope not to be bothered.

Ok, so to expand on my flat tire yesterday, this is how my Thursday went...
Started by running to Alachua from Atlanta early in the morning to make a 1000 appt after sleeping at the shipper because I ran out of time. On the way, got a message asking what my eta was. I guess they didn't think I would make it. Got there ten minutes early and proceeded to take three hours to get unloaded. Pretty standard for this receiver but still ate up my 14. Pulled away from the dock and noticed I had a flat on a brand new tire on the trailer. Send my breakdown message in BEFORE I sent in empty and they still sent me a load to pick up in Lee, FL for Austell, GA at 0400 this morning. If I didn't have a flat I could have made it after taking a split sleeper but I had to run to Gainesville to a tire shop. I let them know there is no way I can make 0400 and they want me to pick it up anyway and take it to Albany. Premiere care wants me to take the flat tire with me, I guess so they can have it repaired, and I rig up a ratchet strap to the back of the cab so I can secure the tire since we don't have the proper equipment to carry tires. It took two hours to fix the tire and I'm rolling toward Lee for the pick up. It took them and hour and a half to print the paperwork because apparently there was a problem with it and the girl working the window couldn't figure it out. By the time I leave I tell dispatch that I can't even make it to Albany now because it took so long to get paperwork. I made it as far as Valdosta before I ran out of time. I parked, unhooked and moved to the spot next to the trailer and someone was supposed to pick it up too make the 0400 delivery. Imagine my surprise when I wake up at 0400 and the trailer is still there. Another driver got there just after four to pick it up. I figure he will get there about 0830 and if they had told me to keep it I could have gotten it there around 0630. Oh well. Now I am sitting in Albany waiting on a load to go home. -
Looking at videos in the accident section. This was a wrong way driver on I-55 in Missouri. I noticed a Millis truck almost got nailed by the out of control car. Anyone on here? Looks like a 660

Dropped in Cherokee Alabama last night after getting trailer repaired due to springs on tandems being broken and I can't enter SCA property with them forward. Preplanned to Excel in Byhalia Mississippi where I picked up this morning for a 106 mile deadhead heaing to Richmond VA for Monday at 0800 going to take this load through the house for tomorrow night. Then one more week out and home 23-26 hopefully. Will end with 2655 this week. Thankful I know some guys haven't been as lucky.

Delived this morning at Mid-Atlantic in Richmond VA and came to Owens Brockway in Toano VA for a glass load. Appointment was 1700-1900 so I sat all day waiting. Ran out of hours so sleeping here for the night then headed to Fulton NY for tomorrow at Patterson Ware House. Then who knows! Y'all be safe out there.

Sitting in Cartersville for the second night in a row, I did a big loop today Georgia to South Carolina and back, heading to Dalton in the morning. Then hopefully a load of carpet to Wisconsin. Ended up with 3268 for the week plus a reset.

Just got in a dock in Fulton NY at Patterson WHSE I don't know where ill be going from here but I only have 1 hour 47 minutes of drive time left and 3 hours on my 14 (DC traffic sucked.) Looks like they wouldn't have an issue with me staying here though and ill add it to my can sleep here list.
