Did you find your way into Big Island OK? It can be confusing the first time going.

 

One thing about drivers....They all have an opinion.
But on the subject of tandems and bridge laws, I was told by a grizzled old vet that as long as your mud flap bracket was not beyond the holes in the trailer to chain your door open that you were legal in all states and that Virginia specifically uses that as their guage as you cross their scales.
I would like to know if anyone else knows if that is accurate?

 

well indiana is 40" so i think that is what he was complaining about. but seriously was there nothing else to do today? I run stuff from streator and lapel to trenton all day every day I just move them so it is easier for me to get around corners.

 

I was told the same thing and since I spend 97% of my day in VA, never scale and run my tandems to the rear most days could be true since Ive never had a problem........or just luck lol

Ive been told by a few people that when idling to keep beer from freezing to drop your bags and use high idle to maximize vibration in the trailer opinions?
