If you ever get stopped in that area again, the T/A in Beto Junction is far nicer than the J in Emporia if that is where you are.

I've got a two stopper headed to Iowa and Wisconsin. Stopped for a couple hours to visit some friends in Oklahoma and now it's dropping sleet and freezing rain so I might get stuck until the morning.

    Oh :)

Let's see... average run I would say is around 250 miles or so. Of course there will be a lot of glass runs to Albany (166 miles) and the longest I see is around 508 or so (Albany to Raleigh) The shortest run I've been paid by the mile for was 107 (Albany to Macon).

    Hegemeister Thanks this.

more than half is drop and hook. unless you are on longer runs, that's about right. you will eat up your 14 everyday!

Fifth night in a row having to idle at night due to cold temperatures and having a beer load on board. Trying not to get used to the truck rocking me to sleep.

Little 12v Fan helps a lot at nights during the summer to keep cool, but you will have to do some idling.
