Small world eh? Few millis trucks here tonight.

 

Got a load to chicago delivers at 5am. not sure where i am going yet since i am at home and not at the truck. So i will find out later. I am just gonna do some night driving to get there since if i left now i would have to take a 10 and then i would miss the appointment time. I wonder if it will be chicago beverage. i havent been there yet. heard good things and bad. mostly on directions to get there. I think i heard some people say not to follow the qualcomm directions and some say to follow them. so i am confused on that. maybe someone will chime in before i head to the truck just in case i am going there.

 

If its Chicago Bev or Chicago Carton I posted directions on here that I think are better than the qcomm and you can park on the streets. Chicago Carton is in the same industrial park as Chicago Bev. If its Mead Packaging you can park in the Industrial park if you need to. If its Chicago Bev they open the doors at Midnight and will take it first come first serve.

 

Db it is a beer load so that would narrow it down. I will have to search for your directions i guess

 

If its Chi Bev I would drive up there tonight, if you get up there at 10p you can get a full 10 in, leave at 8a or 9a and miss most of Chicago traffic. Just take a nap and about 2 am go to the door and check in, get unload and show the on duty time in the morning or before you start your break. Careful of the trees on the road they block the older Q comm signal in the T2 and 660.

 

These are the directions as posted by DB.
CBCH- 90/94 West to exit 44B. Left at the bottom of ramp. Go roughly 5-6 miles and make a left on Cicero/IL-50. Go about 2 miles and make a left on Chicago Ave. Go about 2 blocks under the first railroad tressel, right on Kilbourn. Go to the Stop sign make a left. Follow that around and Chi Bev is on left and you can park overnight.

 

Was that a Chicago bev.? Never had an appt. time that late in the morning, Everytime I delivered there it was 1-2 am.

 

Got pictures on my phone today of a millis driver that drove through a house in ohio. Also tornado touched down near cartersville terminal. Praying for all parties involved.

 

Winds are no joke in NC now, be safe anyone in western or central NC!

 

Becare of the left turn on Chicago Ave. And yes - they have appt times all the way to 7am. But dont worry get there early and they will fit you in early if they can.
