nope i had not been to weedsport in like 6 months so i took a wrong turn and was trying to make another turn to get back to the correct road. I could not see anything and couldnt judge the road width due to the snow. so i cut out as far as i could to make the turn and the passenger side wheels on the tandem went into the ditch. i couldnt get it out. I was like crap. then an off duty emergency responder stopped to see if i was ok and called a tow truck for me. then the tow guy had to call his boss to bring another tow truck. so one pulled the trailer sideways while the other pulled it backwards out of the ditch. My truck was on the pavement but the trailer wasnt. No damage to anything including my beer load. so local cop said no ticket no accident. just called it in as a disabled vehicle.

For some reason they sent a bunch of us midwest regional guys to new york this week. must have been slow in the midwest. I got a load to mechanicville from trenton and i was like is this for me? because i dont get long distance loads anymore. but hey its better than sitting. but i would rather just stay in the midwest.

 

All good, could tell it had been well taken care of. And prefer the 700 that is when it is not in the shop.

 

Had a rough few weeks, between truck issues, slow freight and weather. Seems like nothing wants me to have a good week lol. Stuck in Boonville, MO til Monday, tried to deliver in Sedalia yesterday but the snow removal efforts there just didn't cut it. Man I hope next week improves.

 

Think we all can relate to that has been a rough winter.

 

21109 was my truck also. Only for about 2 weeks tho. The last week of july and first week of Aug. Never had a problem with it. I ran into a guy about a month in Morris Il who was driving it. Nice dude. We had dinner and all.

 

Also had the big blizzard the previous week and not much got moved into the northeast area.

 

Sure you had it after it was finally was repaired I turned it in during June. Funny how many have connections to that truck.

 

Sitting in white hall il. Stuck in and ice,snow,mud lot with a dip in the middle. 2hrs before a wrecker can get here. Customers reallyneed to start plowing lots. Got stuck and unstuck up at the brewery in lacrosse a few weeks back, got stuck at the shipper and the yard guy pulled me out. Told premier care was bobtail and a pickup could pull me out. Bet they send a full size semi-wrecker out.

 

Glad it worked out I missed the turn to Weedsport the first time to.
