9 hours in Toano to get unload, reloaded for Streator this morning. Find out somewhere between the Maryland Scales that DOTed me, and Toano the lic. plate and bracket that holds it on the trailer flew off somewhere. The frame where it screwed in was completely rusted out. Between moving from the front docks to the back docks to get reloaded my emergency line developed a hole in it, which took roadside 3 hrs to get out and fix. Then shut down early due to snow and ice on the WV turnpike. Yippie.

We all have those days. Four days and 2 KW dealers later last week still have check enj. on and connect service tool error which Cummins has no clue why. On top of that the speed sensor keeps going out that KW says is fine, scared me yesterday when it went out speed went to 0 on dash and had foot on pedal and the truck got up to 75 according to GPS, but no hard brake like in the past. O the joys of trucking.

Does anyone know if you can plug a USB keyboard into these new Qualcomm units that only have the touchscreen keyboard? I'm getting tired of kitting a key and having it pop up two or three times! It takes forever to type on these things. I see it has a USB port on the side of it

Yes and no on the keyboard and mouse. A wired one most likely will work fine a wireless may or may not. Just depends if the os has native support for it. Should be fine with about any cheap wired keyboard or mouse. Wireless ymmv

so since my browser on my phone decided to not work with the forum i have to update on the weekends.
I would only volunteer for the camera thing if they paid me extra to do it. and as long as it didnt have a mic. I say a ton of bad things while driving like when dumb people cut me off or do something stupid. It would however be very entertaining. Also it only records like a cop car camera. for a few seconds before the event and a preset time after. besides why would millis want to see me masterbating all the time?

As for my week it was slightly crazy. dropped in rockford illinois. was sent to G3 but couldnt make it due to a freak snow storm. i was only driving at 25 mph and kept looking back to see my trailer swinging out to the side because of the winds. so i pulled over and shut down at an oasis on 88. got the load next morning and dropped in trenton. then got sent to michigan and back. played some cards. then was asked to hop into 8110 a coffin sleeper to pull a heavy load that delivered in newark ohio. it was interesting driving that small of a truck. but i did it and now i am home for the weekend. we will see what fun i get into next week.

Well guess QUALCOMM went down can't send messages out. A guy called into the Trucking Channel and said he got a nasty call from his dispatch for still being in the sleeper and missing a pickup. Informed them he was loaded and 200 miles out. Hate to be the ones working in BRF I am sure the phones are going crazy. Remember when QUALCOMM was first starting and they would go down for days that was always fun NOT. Good luck to everyone trying to get things updated to keep rolling.
