When I went through trenton we started with 10, one never showed, then one never made it though class, one quit while with his trainer, one rolled his truck with an unauthorized passenger. That leaves 6 out of 10. Another reason turnover is high (actually low compared to national average) is because, although Millis is a great starter company with a great school, they are just that. A starter company. Once you get a year of OTR experience, job opportunities for better pay or better home time open up everywhere with other companies. I would recommend Millis to anyone, they truly are a great company, I was recently approved to be a driver trainer with Millis. The same day I was offered a job that pays. 49 cents a mile with bonuses on top of that. I have decided to stay with Millis and train for a while but if it's to stressful or I just don't enjoy it I will be heading to the other company

I live in freaking Ohio not far from the terminal... And I have an amazingly clean background and drivin record! They had to of been just too picky! I applied elsewhere due to the fact the recruiter Alice June was freaking rude to me.. She gave me no reason and before I could say anything Hung up on me! There could be no reason that would make them not wanna hire me!

Just wondering, is anyone else here going to be in the Cartersville, Ga. class on May 28th ? I asked earlier in the thread and all I know of is one person that is going to be in orientation (not the class). I know I'm not going to be the only one there...lol.
Garlibread56...there had to be some other reason they didn't accept your app besides being picky, if they were being picky, they wouldn't accept a 53 year old bald guy like me. lol. A few years back, I was out of work for 7 months because the company I worked for went under. Whenever I got turned down for a job I applied to, I always asked the contact for that company why I was turned down so that I wouldn't make the same mistake at my next interview. Perhaps if you called back and politely asked why your app was turned down, you'd know for next time and, maybe, it was something that you could explain away. Best of luck to you. -
I'm 22 and that's their hiring age... I'm about to be 23 in 5 months!
In 3 yrs I was unemployed a total time of 3 months due to no jobs! -
Garlicbread56 if your serious about working here inbox me your info and I will check to see what's going on.
