I worry to much don't think they hire from your area. Near to impossible to get you home.

you just need to live in their freight lanes, closest terminal to me is 80mi. Away and don't get to it often, the terminal I see the most is Trenton and that's about 300mi away, good luck.

Quick note Illinois Law and most States now have the law when you see cop or EMV's on the side of the road you have to change to the left lane....

Hi. I just want to thank Millis for accepting me in the cdl training. But I also have another option of going to a technical college where the cost of it is almost free except for the gas or should one go with Millis where there is a 50/50 chance of getting employed with a real good company. I know I must make up my own mind. I going to take the cdl permit test on Monday. Any suggestions out there? Also the tech school is 240 hours and more laid back.

The benefits of going with Millis is you'll have a job once you finish all the required training, you'll drive a way above average truck as a new employee, good miles & home time better than average pay and to be truthful it was very laid back.

Yes, if they accept you in the school, you have a job. Unless you flunk out of the school. It's pretty tough to flunk out. We have great trainers and instructors at each location. Good luck.
