What's the story behind the no parking sign? Seems like there's something behind it or am I wrong?

This is just a curiosity kind of thing here but I was just wondering hypothetically if I was to get on with Millis, since I live in Georgia would they try and keep me in the southeast as much as possible or is it hit and miss as to where one will be?

I was just asking because I see Millis trucks literally everyday running up and down I-85 and saw a bunch last week when I was headed up I-75.

just depends if you get on regional your going to stay in the southeast. if you go over the road you will be at the mercy of the freight. I spend alot of my time running midwest to the southeast but i know other drivers all they do is run the northeast.

Aside from the regional and dedicated guys down there you will always see a lot of long haul as atlanta region is one point of a major triangle for freight lanes.

Thank you Sully, Bear, and Baritone for all the good info you guys keep posting about Millis Transfer. I applied recently, talked to Alice the next day (she is awesome!) turned in all my required paperwork. She calls me yesterday saying that I have been accepted and will be going on Sept 12
to the Richfield location. Any advice as far as what supplies to bring for training? :biggrin_255: im so excited

I live in Central MD about 15 miles off of I70 and 40 miles from I81 and I'm thinking about applying to Millis. Is that a good area/lane for them? Do you drivers think I'd be able to get home weekly/weekends? Thanks
