They actually have a sales person. I do not think he does his job. From what I see Millis is in the process of becoming c.r. england. Only caring about butts in seats. They dont care about the quality of the driver just as long as theu can hold the steering wheel. No wonder they have had way more accidents the last few years. Sooner or later they will have to watch a driver or even a family (heaven forbid) get killed on camera
Went ahead an applied to Millis today. Tried yesterday, but, it doesn't work as well on your phone. Called early this evening and lady told me she would work on it and let me know. I shouldn't have any problems, I was approved the last 2 times before. Been a year since I applied last, hopefully I'll here back shortly.
I decided since it had been a couple of day from when I talked to Raychel that I would call back. Well Alice answers and come to find out I was denied. I asked her could she tell me what for since I have been approved before and really nothing had changed except a couple of other jobs added to my history. She says that it only said other candidate were considered. I asked if she could see about an actual reason that maybe it was something I could fix on my end. She puts me on hold, comes back and says it was because I did have enough work history listed. I said the application only lets you put so much on it. So, she has Raychel send me an email with the info needed and reply back and speak to Raychel. She was looking it over at that moment and would give it to her boss so he could decide. Told her one of my employers probably won't verify anything for me because he is hard to deal with but I can verify that with bank statements where I was paid, as I never received a check stub. So, I offered to go through the trouble if need and she is gonna let me know. As far as everything else, she and Alice sounded very positive. Just wished she had called me about it to work it out prior to just denying me, I had to call her. Good thing I did. Wonder if that was just their test to see how bad I wanted this? I'll keep you guys posted.
There is an old saying...the squeeky wheel gets the grease. If you give up you hsve no chance...if you refuse to give up you just might get it...and let me tell you...when you sign for that first truck it makes it all worth it.
In most cases, so very true. I know how to make noise as needed and sometimes with alittle charm, especially in this case. As long as they fill me in along the way, I can get this bridge crossed. I'm normally not one to give up easily. My wife complains sometimes about how determine I am to get something done, drives her crazy sometimes. I tell her thats just called survival. If there is a will, I will eventually find a way.
