I can't help u with getting home every weekend cause im not in a location that id even ask, so maybe someone else can weigh in on that. I could say definitely every 2 weeks which is standard dispatch. As far as your area goes I would say yes you are in a good location for millis in my opinion.

Millis 500 is bobtailing around the yard all day, to get familiar with the truck, upshifting and down shifting on the low side. Must be 500 laps, lol!Last edited: Jul 28, 2011

I hear ya, thanks for explanation.
Ive only found site about a year ago im not sure how long its been around but read posts from 2007 anyway. -
Hey Sully, Lneck91 did you guys study the CDL manual before starting MTI? you know to refresh yourself. i had my permit back in April of this year and i feel i need to refresh myself which im going to do, just wonder if you guys did the same
Thanks Guys -
Yeah, mainly because. As it got closer couldn't think about much else. The school will give you more to study and certainly cover everything you need. While at school I studied the regulation book for cmv . This was provided by millis(green book) ii still study it today. Some of the regs you will read over and over but i've run into dot that I felt were not as polished on some of regs as I was another during an inspection was impressed I had reg #'s on my log. As my our trainer said" how can you expect to win a football game if you don't know the rules and this is our profession a little more important than a game"
