You are right about that. I wish I had half of the patience that Bill has.

Alright, great. How long is the training at Millis and with the driver? When do I schedule for the driving at the school? I assume I would rent a vehicle to get from Trenton, Ohio to State College, Pa. No?

Millis training > Driver training > CDL Driving Test. In that order?

You will go through 3 weeks of training in Trenton, then go out with a trainer. Usually, the trainer will decide when you are ready for your CDL test. Then your trainer will take you to take your test. No need to rent anything. You will take you test in the same truck you have been training in.

you will be with your trainer for at least 15000 miles.

    simpleman78 and panhead Thank this.

Thought I'd say hello to fellow truckers. I'm starting the millis training this Monday in Cartersville, GA I'm very excited and ready to start. This is something I've always wanted to do since I was a kid lol. If anyone has any advise I would like to hear it. Thanks and drive safe

You have 3 or 4 batteries. The TV doesn't burn a lot of power. I ran a tv with satellite and never got so low the batteries would shut off. I once left my sleeper lights on all weekend and had no trouble starting the truck.
