Yes definitely what Sully said. Get it at the truckstop, it's cheaper by about 50%

so today i bought a light weight sleeping bag for only 12 bucks! yay! anyways another thing i did was go to a truck dealer and climb inside a truck for the first time. they are so high up! well i climbed in just fine but when i climbed back out, well lets just say i didnt really climb...more like fell! yeah i misplaced my foot on the last step and fell but i still landed on both feet. i was really embarrassed tho. so that was my experience for the day lol

anyone know if i need work boots for truck driving? i already have steel toe/safety toe from my job im at now but i have a boot voucher to get some new ones if i need to.

Its counter intuitive with the cold but I where steel toes in the winter. Not usually out of truck long enough for steel to chill up but good if you have to kick something, like a chunk of ice off. If a yard is muddy Ill where them but usually sneakers in summertime or even sandals. One thing I'll say is I have the gear in the truck in the winter to stay warm in case I'm stranded with no heat below zero. Always good to be prepared for anything.

Thought maybe. Here's a trivia question for anyone but try to answer without google. I'll give answer after a few responses.

Which State has the most horses per acre?

Is that the date you chose or the next opening they had? Just wondering if they are that booked up

Though they come in handy, steel toe not really a necessity. I would use the boot voucher and have spare boots ready to go.

I got the boot voucher from my job i work at now...they require steel toes there cuz its a factory type job, they are closing down so thats why im looking into truck driving.

as for my start date...aug 22 and sept were available the soonest and my current job requires me to stay with them till sept 19 in order to my severence check and keep my benefits til then. so all i did was just schedule the 19th off so i can start with millis then...pointless for me to stay with my job for just one day when i can begin my new career.

as for the winter gear i am able to keep my winter carhart over-alls from my job and they are good for like -20 degree weather or something. i plan to keep those with me in the winter. my boots are not steel toe but the composite toe so they dont freeze as fast but i was still wondering if i would need them. i plan on having sneakers for just driving in cuz those boots are uncomfortable to drive in sometimes cuz they are 6 inches tall
