Drove for the first time on the road today...wasnt nervous but hit every #### stop light there was and never got above 45 mph. Got very frustrating trying to down shift and not hit the vehicle in front of me at the same time. Turning and up-shifting wasnt that hard tho. Just need more time and less traffic and stop lights!

You did get a bad route for your first time out. I'm sure it will be better tomorrow.

Delivered to Lawrenceburg, IN. Monday afternoon then deadheaded to Trenton, OH. Where I stopped to meet and talk with the students...was nice to meet everyone there!! Loaded up in Trenton with a load of brewskies for North Aurora, IL. For delivery Tuesday morning. After getting unloaded I deadheaded to Dolton, IL. and got loaded with glass containers that delivered to Columbus, OH. Wednesday. After unloading in Columbus, OH. I deadheaded back to Trenton again to grab a load going to Milwaukee, WI. for Wednesday night. Woke up Thursday morning to finally a blue sky and sunshine...decided it was time to swing thru the Streakin' beacon for a truck wash...got her all cleaned up and I headed on up to the brewery in Milwaukee...got 5 miles up the road and hit the rain again!!! It rained all day and night on me. Picked up in Milwaukee and delivered in Toano, VA... So I'm now getting reloaded in Toano, VA. With a load for Lapel, IN... Then I'm heading to Trenton to pickup a load to deliver Monday in Winder, GA...then dropping truck off in Cartersville for service work and heading to the house for acouple days

Guys/Gals - IMPORTANT!!!!!!!!!!!!
Check your bulkheads. Miller in Albany has been putting in 4 plastic bulkheads all in a single row infront of each other as a bulkhead. (meaning they dont span frm side to side of the trailer) That's it - no bars - no straps - nothing on either side of those plastic peices to stop the load from moving forward!
If you can climb up - check the bulk head!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Trust me - I am writing this from experience!Whitey14243 Thanks this. -

Good advice. Ii usually put 1 strap above their pallets and 2 as an X through their pallets holding them in place.

Been meaning to address that.. my data was on paper in a binder with other important documents that was left in my old truck when it was towed. Un fortunately the binder is one of a handful of things I didn't get back. No idea where it went or what they did with it. I think ill post some trip data I have on hhg and some of the others that maintain a trip log can help with the comparison. Sorry guys but its loss was outs my control. Frustrating to have 8 mos of data disappear.
