I'm guessing everyone's staying quite busy including students...haven't really seen any new posts...but hey busy is good right. Hope everyone is having good week and learning a lot

Just a question of curiosity, are there usually enough runs either picking up or delivering at night to sustain weekly miles. Just trying to think which would allow a person to run more efficiently as far as hours/ mileage...

Most appointments are during the day(business hours). There are a few exceptions to that rule. Also some of the drop n hooks aren't really time sensitive. Just have to be there on the date scheduled. Some people choose to run during the night, some during the day. As long as the load gets there on schedule.
frank81 Thanks this. -
Delivered to Menards DC in Plano, IL. this morning and then was dispatched to pickup in St. Charles, IL. to deliver in Palmetto, GA...which works out for me since I just live around the corner from Palmetto. Currently sitting in line in St. Charles waiting to get loaded!!

Busy indeed! Was picked up Monday evening and drove to upstated new york. Stayed the night at a rest area near the PA/NY boarder. Delivered to little valley (I think it was called) new york and then picked up a load in buffalo, NY that was to be delivered to atlanta,GA. So drove through PA, WV, VA, NC, SC, and GA. My trainer did most of the mountain driving but I didn't some of the smaller ones. I did rush hour atlanta traffic too...that was fun lol. Now spending the night at cartersville terminal
