Cant figure out why a certain company’s DCs are always confused when you show up with carpet and it’s a live unload.

 

Alright everyone... Annual safety bonuses have dropped. Let's see them mileage totals! Mine is a modest 128,086.

 

Mine was 111,660 but I missed last 6 weeks of 2019. Probably would have had another 4 weeks because I was going to take 2 weeks off for Xmas and new year.
Also went back to last paystub of 2019, I am 2 weeks away from passing last years income. Thank you Covid!!!

 

Did they give you any #### over taking to her mich time off at once? I'm thinking about maybe taking a month off at once toward the end of next summer to do some remodeling....and fishing.

 

Wife got sick at thanksgiving was in hospital for a month. So wasn’t really planned.

Ahh okay. That really sucks though.

 

I think the speed is lowered for a year. It seems like they are discouraging people to stay by doing that.

 

definitely, even swift faster than that. thankfully my year is up so I might consider going elsewhere. I can understand if it were lowered for a month or 2, but a year is too long, especially as an OTR driver. also today had an issue with a trailer. right side landing gear couldn't go up because the bar underneath the trailer was broken off. sent a macro 40 and they told me to just find someone with some big pliers. lol what? I'm at a freaking drop lot there ain't nobody here. if I had 2 wrenches I could MAYBE get the screw unloose and try to tighten it against the half torn hole, but I've only got 1. guess I'll carry 2 now, and invest in big pliers for fixing broken landing gear bars.

 

I drove through enough rain to wash most of the dust off the front if the truck, but not enough to get rid of the last of the baked on bug splatters on the windshield. Even after scrubbing them with the squeegee between storms.
