1900 miles this week, would have been more but weekend dispatch gave my pre plan to someone else. Odd how it happened. I showed up to make delivery, gave them my outbound trailer number. Guard looked for 20 minutes finally came back and said he couldn’t find it. Went in yard dropped my loaded trailer hit empty at shipper. Got the exact same load I was supposed to pick up, went back to guard who looked again and made some calls.
Guard once again said nope doesn’t exist. Messaged dispatch, who 20 mins later said that the trailer is going through Whitestown In. Which sucked for me since I was up in Horicon. So instead of a 1000 mile weekend load I got 420 mile load to where I currently sit.

I had the same thing (my pre-plan dispatched to another driver) a few weekends ago.

The high wind warnings yesterday were right, and those crosswinds were brutal. I had to shut the trailer tails to make it easier to stay in my lane.

Went to Budweiser in St Louis today. Finally found the right way out of that place. Taking a right on Arsenal back to the highway was always the worst part of that place.

I guess the Budweiser embargo must have been lifted or something, because this is the second time today someone had mentioned a Budweiser load after not hearing about any in over a year.

Rumor has it Budweiser decided to not pay Millis for a bunch of loads from Baldwinsville NY so Millis had pulled all trailers out of that location.

    mjd4277 Thanks this.

Oh. A classic case of “F*** you,pay me!!”lol So far we haven’t had that issue with Budweiser-and I’ve been to both Baldwinsville and St. Louis warehouses.

How recently have you picked up in Baldwinsville? It's been well over a year since I've had a load out of there. Not that I miss those effin' 47,000 pound loads.

It’s been at least 3 years. Usually Budweiser plant wise I’m sent to either St. Louis or Jacksonville,Florida. When I was with Western Express I was ALWAYS sent to Baldwinsville or Williamsburg,VA(that one always tried to overload the trailers-never mind the scalehouse on I-64 was always open). Usually when I was sent to Baldwinsville loads were typically around the 41 to 43,000 pound range.
