So, here's my deep thought for the day. If I wanted to go out and buy a house, like right now as I'm typing this, I have my pick of loans. By that I mean I could have negotiating power on payments, prices, terms, etc. AND, I am eligible for first time buyer options and other cute little government programs. I have good enough credit and enough income to easily get a house valued at $150k. A house, by the way, that will most likely need some type of repair or addition or whatever. For some reason, that's ok. But a loan for $150k on a truck that will generate over a million dollars in the next 5 years? Much harder. Makes absolutely zero sense.

I thought as much. Even though thank you for the offer of help. I will for sure be on here looking for answers when I have question. And you should come back to TEXAS more often. There is lots to see and do down here. I love it when I'm there..

I like going to texas, its usually a good mileage load, and good miles out of there. Its all luck of draw however, and just never seems to be a place I get sent. My buddy and my trainer om other hand it seemed like thet were there every week lol. Just like Florida, Im yet to go there but my buddy I was in class with has been there like 10 times .

You'll get your first check after you've been out with your trainer for a couple weeks.

You haven't been to Florida yet? That's surprising. Well, you aren't missing much. The miles are obviously good, but you may have to wait for a bit to get out. Freight is non-existent down there unless you are running reefer. I'll agree with you that the runs to Texas are great miles, but man I hate going there. I hate their road system. Those access roads are such a pain in the butt.

That will completely depend on when you start. Our pay periods run from Tuesday to Monday. So if you started on a Tuesday, then yes it be for a full pay period. If you started on a Friday, your first check would just be a partial week.

Most banks are actually good with trucks. The point I was trying to make is that the credit required to finance a house of the same value is considerably lower.
