Lol, no worries. I'm in 5036. If he saw me in Arkansas it would have been extremely brief. Just stopped there for a bathroom break and coffee I truly detest that state, I try to be there as briefly as possible.

 

I am as well. I'm in Texarkana on the Texas side, at the Love's.

 

Sup gang. Today was pretty easy. Just straight running. The only thing I had to do besides drive was find a Wallyworld and do some grocery shopping. I started a little later than I wanted to, I logged on and hour after my 10 was done. Not a big deal, but I could have made it a little further down the road. I had my eye on another truck stop, and Trucker Path was telling me that the spots were filling up. So, I stopped at the Love's in Texarkana, TX. Just barely inside the Texas border. And just enough to qualify as "NOT ARKANSAS"! Mission accomplished. I'm 4 hours from the Burleson terminal. I'll be dropping this load and picking up another load there. I'll be retracing my exact path back to Alabama. And, I'll be leaving here at 3:30am, so I should be pretty much traffic free for the first leg of my trip tomorrow. Wow, that was a really boring post. But, nothing of interest to talk about today, really. Alrighty guys, I'm hittin' the sack. Goodnight Truckerland, be safe out there. Peace y'all.

Greetings from Benton, AR. Today was another pretty simple day. Got moving around 4am and hauled butt for Burleson. Grabbed some fuel right before my drop then hit the yard. That terminal is kinda creepy on the weekends, it's like a ghost town there. Grabbed my new load and made it to the Pilot in Benton. I'd love to say something interesting, but that was pretty much it lol. Nothing but running. Traffic was awesome in the morning, not too terrible in the afternoon. The sky couldn't make up its mind today, it didn't know if it wanted to rain or be sunny. So it did both several times. I'm 7 hours from my final in Huntsville, AL. When I get to the final, I'll only have 9 hours left on my 70, and nothing coming back the next day, so I'm curious to see what Opie does with me. I might be looking at a reset, which would be fine with me. Turn off the phones and sleep the day away. Sorry, yet another boring post. But boring is a good thing. Those days are nice once in a while Time to eat and grab a shower. Keep the rubber side down, and be safe out there.

 

I was there a long time ago with my dad. I'm guessing I was about 12 or 13. I agree, that place was pretty cool
