I'm still here, but looking at some other opportunities. I'd like to get home more often but still make a decent check. Also, the truck they switched me into recently kinda sucks...amongst a bunch of things, it thinks it is going 70 but really only goes 68.

 

I'm late to the idle Convo...but I did find those messages humorous, especially the last one where I guess guys were brutally honest and said they do it to earn more fuel bonus. I only idle when I need the power for my microwave. Otherwise most of the winter it's off (I discovered the bunk heater this year). Once it gets hot hot hot, I'll idle a little more, but I don't just don't get the idling when it is between 40-60 degrees.

 

Empty trucks but the best they could put me in after taking away my sturdy 9039 is a beat up 20088 with ratty curtains, tops out at 68, creeking everywhere, engine compartment is nasty dirty.

Anyway, what are you doing now?

I'm dragging my feet on my move because I have 1500 other things to deal with right now.

 

Get new tires, they replaced all of mine within a month of each other. I was finally able to do 70.

 

So far I’ve only had one trainee that I didn’t have to wait on when picking them up. Trainee number 3, takes them forever to realize that if you are on time you are late.

 

I have to wonder how bad that gouge down the side of that truck was to cost $10000.
