Yeah I’m going home for vacation. Well more of a staycation.

 

Today I learned if the AC stops working I didn't have to drive over an hour without it before getting it to work again by turning the truck off and then restarting it.

 

Yep! Most things electrical in the truck that magically stop working after the truck has been turned off will magically start working again if you turn the truck off for 10-15 minutes.

 

That's about how long I waited too!

 

Wonder why we need to announce our pay package and our classification when getting the truck locks? Seems weird.

 

I was wondering about that too. You would think they would know.

Also I wonder who got their truck stolen that prompted all this. Because the last fleet message I got from dispatch before parking and going home today was a reminder to watch my idle percentage and to take the keys with me when I leave the truck.

Wondered that also, but I’m guessing there is just as much of a chance that someone parked their truck went to the bar and can’t remember where they parked it.

 

What is "classification"? OTR vs Regional?
