I saw a bright yellow KW with the Steelers logo on it that made me think of him, wonder if it was his.

Some how my post didn’t take all my words. I don’t know if the mods deleted some or what.
Yes Tim is gone he killed himself in a hotel. I liked him I was trying to get him on my Authority problem was he was in serious debt with a sub 450 credit scores. Very hard to get approval for insurance. I feel for his family. I had a brother that killed himself about 8 years ago no note no nothing. It killed my Mom. I know life on the road can be long and lonely but you got to have a few trucking buddies to talk to.
Be Safe Out There

Just giving another update on my process.
Finished MTI School. My trainer has 30 years driving experience and his "own" way doing his training which I liked. He taught me how to drive and be successful with my OTR Trainer.
My trainer OTR has over 50 years experience. His first job was driving trucks around the yard at a factory when he was 16.
For being OTR I'm slightly disappointed so far we only been to east coast places that I already been or vacationed. Miller Brewery in Albany Georgia where we spent the night at a drop yard 1/2 a mile away, then just to bring another load from there to Elkton Virginia. We did another small load from the Eden NC drop yard to a John Deere plant in I think Kernersville NC. I'm hoping I'll be able to head out west soon.
So far everything has been going smooth. Backing and Driving hasn't been difficult. The hardest part so far is remembering everything I need to with the Qualcomm and faxing our my paperwork
Also I'm realizing parking is close to impossible if you run too late.
Lastly the top bunk in this sleeper is terrible!!!! Shaped like a huge 'U' so wherever you laydown you slide to the middle. They put a mattress on this thing that is bigger then the frame below it so bows up.
But so far no complaints. Just waiting to get my own truck so I can it my own.MIT Thanks this. -
Just wait until you get to places made to accommodate big trucks with room to park.
You'll find that parking early is better, it's like landing while flying. It's better when things go as planned, especially when you plan for leaving with a clear shot for the exit in the morning.Last edited: Aug 4, 2021

This load has just been an oddity. Waited 6 hrs in Avon for it, have been sitting outside Atlanta bonded almost 2 hours to deliver it.
