What would you guys do? I have a load that says consignee will unload with pallet Jack and fork lift don’t use the dock. The receiving guy is throwing a fit because I won’t back up to dock. I get it it’s more work for him. But the dock sucks. I could do back in but why should I?

 

Tell him you're sorry but your paperwork says what it says and the dock is not good for a truck.

 

Yeah they eventually unloaded me, now I’m stuck at carol stream pilot where pumps are broken and no one is pulling out so I’m boxed in. Others peoples stupidity is what I hate most about trucking. I can deal with my own.

 

That Pilot SUCKS. Surprised you found a place the park there. A lot of dummies out there for sure. Some of it is just lack of consideration for others.

 

Lol I wasn’t parked, I was in fuel line, no one was moving guy in front of me just parked at fuel pump because it wasn’t working. No flashers just parked there. No where to back up because the place was swarmed.
Today is just a day of waiting . Waited at receiver, waited at fuel stop, waiting at shipper. 6 hrs into my 14 20 miles driven. Lol I planned it out last night to get to the receiver and spend the night so I could boogie down the road today. Best laid plans……

 

Always works that way with plans. I used to go to that Graphic Packaging down the street for loads back to XPO in Avon, NY when going home and usually had that Pilot as a fuel stop. It is terrible. One time I pulled in and a truck was parked somewhat crooked, 2 truck lengths back from the pumps with his curtains closed just screwing everything up taking his 10 hr break. I would never dream of doing some dumb shyte like that.

 

That Pilot doesn't have showers, it's horrible.

 

Weekend load. 5 stop JD load starting in NY, finishing in RI with stops in NH and MA. Ughhhhh
