Yeah I learned last year it doesn’t pay to be out during a holiday. Sat at a Flying J in Iowa for 2 days.

 

Yes I always took the week off over the holidays for that reason plus I wanted to be home. I usually did hometime on every major holiday such as Memorial Day, July 4th, etc...because so many businesses shut down. You may have a load but you'll be sitting on it at a truck stop when you could be home taking a break.

First time going to mark anthony Hillside. I have studied the map over and over, sent in for directions. Studied the map some more. Pretty sure I have never been more prepared to get to a receiver in my life. Lol hope I don’t screw it up.

It's an adventure, isn't it? When I went there, I was coming from the east and the only dirs in the Qualcomm were for if you were coming from the west. My GPS got me there but it was a little hairy at times.

 

Getting there sucked getting out sucked even worse.

 

I was at a Pilot today with 8 pumps today, and 7 we're idle according to the ap. I figured the pumps were having problems like usual, but was able to get fuel without a problem. I was shocked.
