The street name is Chouteau. You will see a Rally's and then the gas station @keen98 mentioned. Once you turn left, set yourself up well for the right. It's tight. I used the right lane plus the bicycle lane. Otherwise you'll eat the pole on the corner. Who cares about bicyclists anyhow![]()

I'll definitely be at Richfield for the night. If anyone is around and wants to hit the watering hole, lemme know.

Hey y'all. Greetings from Richfield. Today was kind of a slow day, not a ton to talk about. I left to grab my Bud load this morning at 2, then headed to my final in New Berlin, WI. Other than an unload that was a little on the slow side, today was a great day. Good weather, great traffic, and a great receiver. I think they may have been a little overwhelmed at the time I pulled in. I've never been there before, so I have no idea what it's normally like. Didn't seem bad to me, but I have no idea what they're used to, traffic-wise. I've never walked a mile in their Nikes, so I can't judge or complain. Nice facility for sure. Very roomy, which is always appreciated. Nice folks as well. I passed my time chewing the fat with a pretty cool WEL driver with a beautiful ride. They should pay that guy extra for recruiting. He talked his company up like I talk Millis up. I love it when I see drivers who are that happy to be where they are. It's a nice change from the normal complaints you hear out on the road. I should have taken pics of his truck, he had clearly spent some cash on it. Before I was even unloaded, Opie sent me my next load. It's a slow run, but I'm thrilled with it. This will be a very relaxing weekend. I'm picking up tomorrow morning in Appleton WI which is about 90 minutes from here. It picks up between 8am and 2pm which means I will get a ridiculous amount of rest tonight. I'll take it! It delivers Monday morning in Charlotte NC at 8am. All told, it's almost 1100 miles, and I can take my sweet time getting there. Know what that means? I will get to enjoy every second of my job. I love runs like this. Just cruising down the road, not in a rush, taking in the scenery, and listening to my music. It doesn't happen often. The earliest I can leave here is 6:30, so I'm at Fat Charlie's enjoying a beer. That doesn't happen often either, so this is a great weekend coming
I hope you guys had a good day today, I know I did. Take it easy out there, and be safe. Keep the rubber down, and check your pins. Until tomorrow, peace y'all.

Couple weeks ago I delivered to New Berlin. Took 4 hours to unload me, and I was only truck there.....they were steam cleaning the dock doors and the floors where you back into dock.....and yes im serious lol
Where you going in Charlotte? We just left Charlotte today, got sent over to Piedmont SC with a load going to Minnesota (great load to have done it like 4 times). We are in Corbin KY about 13.5 hours from Northfield, I hope we can make it by Mon morn lol. We get a nice relaxing wkend also which is welcomed.Steelersjunkie Thanks this. -

Wassup Truckerland. Tonight I'm in Lebanon Indiana. I was tempted to go a little further and get past Indianapolis, but it was getting late, even by weekend standards. So, I decided to call it quits here. This is one of the last decent places on my route that I knew for sure would have open spots. There are a few independents that would have had spots further down the road, but my tolerance for nasty little mom-and-pop places is gone. Plus, I'm heading into hillbilly territory once I'm east of Indy and my time runs out. No thanks. Tomorrow should prove interesting. I'm switching routes from the Qualcomm. My new route makes more sense. It's a little shorter on miles (by 5) and a little shorter on time (by about 7 minutes). But the roads are much nicer, and the overall route is more pleasant of a drive. But it's the weekend, and I'll need a new fuel solution. During the week that isn't a big deal. On the weekend, that can suck. Part of me is tempted to hit Trenton in the morning, but that'll add about 30 minutes to my time. Technically, it's kinda on the way, and I won't have any hassles. But, I'm not sure if I want to sacrifice the time. It'll be a game time decision I guess. Today has been a mixed bag as far as how my day has gone. As far as my job goes, it was a good day. My load time this morning was insane. Less than 20 minutes. Traffic and weather were awesome. But I have a few people I'm worried about, and they haven't left my mind all day. There are a couple students I'm concerned about. I'm sure they'll be fine, they are tough. I know they'll succeed but I remember the struggle. The other person is my cousin's wife. She's a really nice lady, and it's not likely she'll be with us for much longer. She's too dam young for this. Breaks my heart. The impact it'll have on my family will be monumental. Cancer is a wicked #####. I'm gonna have to get some "save the ta-tas" stickers for my truck
Last night I had a beer for enjoyment. Tonight I'm having one for pain. Sorry, not trying to bring anyone down. It's been a rough, emotional day. I'm gonna log off and grab some food before I start rambling. Hope y'all are doing well. Enjoy your evening and be safe out there. Keep the rubber down and check your pins. Peace guys.
