As far as I can tell the CFI terminals are pretty much located where we already have terminals. The Joplin terminal is a nice addition though for those going back and forth to TX and Wisconsin.
They have a terminal in West Memphis guess that works if you can’t make Olive Branch.
I can see the Taylor Michigan terminal being useful for Heartland drivers but not so much us Millis people.
Hard to find a list of all locations involved in the sale. -
I saw the Tesla truck being towed yesterday in Iowa. I didn't know what it was at the time and wondered if it was a Tesla, and according to the link in Frieghtwaves that my phone won't paste here that's what it was.
dwells40 Thanks this. -
Student passed his CDL test yesterday. Even after a major screwup. Was supposed to offset to the right for some reason he offset to the left. After realizing it he was able to get straightened up and offset all the way to the right. He then got the alley dock as his third and final back.
Crocs also passed his CDL test last week seems his current trainer is still having problems with him. He might not make it to getting in his own truck.Still undecided Thanks this. -
Took this when I was leaving Heartless after working for all 3.

I think what happens to us on those easy spots is we get sloppy and we forget for a minute that even the easiest backing maneuver still requires concentration. I'm guilty of it too.MIT and Still undecided Thank this.

One more reason why I'm glad I now pull a dump bucket. The megas don't seem to want anything to do with them and that's fine with me.Still undecided, MIT and JohnBoy Thank this.

I won the random drug test lottery in Albany this morning. 2 hours sitting in a clinic waiting to be tested. I was glad they insisted I be double masked because no one in there looked healthy.
Still undecided and dwells40 Thank this. -
So did Heartland buy the division that's the CFI, UPS freight and others or what? I'm working at a factory and we load a lot of CFIA trailers, some reefers and some dry van. It gets a little confusing when we're loading trailers and they call for a load to go into a CFIA trailer. Not all the trailers are marked with CFIA either. I wish they would put those stickers on the front of all the trailers if they belong to that part of it. It's made tougher when we have CFI & MCT trailers on the lot that bring product in on dedicated runs daily. I think CFI bought Transport America too and there's one of those empty dry vans sitting on our lot for about a month now.
