Uhhh well I'm no longer in it id that tells you anything? Lol. Took it in for its 1st BServ and was given a loaner so I could stay running, and when I got back I asked to keep the loaner. Honestly it wasnt that bad but the speed limit thing, and the fact the camera settings were so sensitive that it came on repeatedly as soon as 1 beep boom camera on. Got in loaner drove from Richfield to Rochester NY and the camera never came on which told me the settings on the new truck were different. Taking a student I didnt want them concerned with the camera coming on at every lil thing so I switched.Vic Firth, Lonesome, FalconsFan21 and 1 other person Thank this.

I'm guessing he will have a lot to get used to then.. he had one of the very old trucks.. he hasn't been there a year yet.. so surprised he was upgraded so soon
-
Means he must be doing something right if they are willing to give him a brand new 1. Takes some getting used to but I'm sure he will be ok. After he gets in it if he has any questions feel free to message me om here or he can call me.

Turning 40k miles on 8063 this weekend. Everything @keen98 says about the new ones is true. The radar is sensitive as all,,,, um, er,,,,,, stuff. It'll trip the camera in a heartbeat. I've only had one hand slap for for following too close which I admit was my own doings. Other than that, the inglorious ####### that cuts in front of you and slows down, trips the camera and all that jazz, the "monitors", er whatever know that stuff and what situation you were just put in.
It's taken me 40k miles to work with Wingman but I'm getting there. The system, sans lane departure which is a joke, is pretty good. I think it's adaptive as well. Wish I knew more about it. Little training maybe? This coming from a jaded 50 sumpin. I'm open, let's roll.Shock Therapy, FalconsFan21 and SHOJim Thank this. -
Yea I forgot to mention the Millis higher ups never said a word to me regarding the new features going off on the truck. My camera was coming on all the time amd never so much as a peep from anyone. For that I was highly appreciative, but my line of thinking for the most part was for the students. They are already nervous starting out in this industry, in a trainers truck etc that i didnt want the added "distractions" because thats exactly what all those new bells and whistles are. We get told to eliminate distractions while driving, but then get all this stuff in the truck beeping, lighting up, or throttling the truck down suddenly, and I don't agree with it.
Steelersjunkie, Farmer54 and FalconsFan21 Thank this.
