I used to keep a sweep out push broom in the side box storage that you could unscrew the handle. The handle makes a great makeshift line in conjunction with a flashlight. Another idea would be a tape measure that you can pull out and lock it out when extended

 

BP broke through the Loves/Pilot stranglehold on fuel solutions. Supposedly TA\Petro are going to be more common of a stop here in the future.

 

Nice! I always preferred parking at those places but it's so inconvenient when you don't have shower credits.

 

I never really cared for most of them, it seemed like they combined the worst of Pilot with pay parking. Plus their reward points are harder to use. I think if more people are going to be getting fuel there parking is going to get worse. But not as bad as the cup of coffee I got at a TA one morning, that was the worst cup of coffee I've had in years. Just the memory of it is enough to keep me awake.

 

Yeah TA coffee is horrid unless you're at one with Dunkin'. You're probably right about the parking too. But maybe that'll mean more room at the Love's and Pilots.

One thing I like about this new gig is that I don't even have to worry that much about parking most of the time. I've worked all week yet slept in my bed every night but Sunday night. Parked at a customer that night and will be parking at a customer tomorrow night. Downside is that I think I know every single effin' bump on I-77 now, I spend so much time on it.

Edit: I guess it ain't really a new gig now since tomorrow is my 1 year anniversary.

 

I have a one cup Keurig brand spanking new i bought when contemplating going otr with Millis.
Any of you Millis folk are welcome to it next time you hit the nearest truckstop, South Betroit, Pilot/Road Ranger if memory serves me.

Filtered water (cant have chlorine it makes nasty coffee) and some Peets Major Dickinsons Blend (50c a cupper) I dare you to find a finer cup of dark roast coffee.

Anyone try Kwik Trips "newer" Bunn on demand coffee system and not the pre brewed swill? It's actually passable.

 

I like the Kwik Trip coffee, tases good and the price is reasonable

 

Chances are that ole truck #1832 hasn’t been stolen just misplaced. I’m guessing Trenton stripped it down because it was going to be turned in, and got lost in the shuffle.

 

LOLOL I can totally see that happening. Especially as busy as they get at that shop.

 

Nice night last night in Illinois so slept with windows open. I guess I slept through the thunderstorms everything is drenched inside the truck.
