Wassup Truckerland. Tonight I'm in Prescott AR. I had to scroll back to remember where I left off lol. So, I was on my way to Edwardsville IL last time I posted. That stop was a pleasant surprise. I was able to get into the gate immediately this time, which was a good start. Last time it took 40 minutes, as there was a line of trucks out on the street. I was also given a dock right away, also different than last time. I was unloaded in two hours, which beats the hell out of the 4 hours I waited on the previous trip. Now I'm set up well for grabbing my next load. I was given a load that picked up in Effingham, about 90 miles away. Good deal. Problem was it didn't pick up until 4pm. My 14 expired at 5pm. Sigh. I headed to the TA in Effingham and then called the shipper to check on the status of the load. I was told that it might be early, check back in 2 hours. I did, and was told that the load wasn't done, but they guaranteed a finish time of 3:45. At this point I was only 15 minutes away, and it was dnh. I got there at 3:30 just to be safe. By the time I checked in and then dropped my trailer, my load was done. Fantastic! I hooked up to the load and went back to the TA with 15 minutes to spare. That load went to the Walmart DC in Palestine TX. Once I dropped and submitted for a load, Opie told me that all he had was a beer load going from Fort Worth to Huntsville AL. He wanted to wait for a bit to see if there were some longer runs. He was eyeing some loads going to Trenton, but they weren't due to load for a bit. I sat for about 3 hours, then decided to leave for a truck stop a few miles down the road. Before I left, @FalconsFan21 let me know that he just passed my location, and was heading to the same truck stop I had in mind. I left and met him there for lunch. After that I messaged Opie to check on load status. He sent me to the Burleson terminal, since whatever load I'd end up with would be coming from the brewery in Ft. Worth. This morning, I inquired about the loads and was told that the Trenton load wouldn't be ready until later today. I asked for the Huntsville load, just to get moving. Then, I was given the option for this load. It picked up at the Owens Brockway in Waco and delivers in Fulton NY on Wednesday. BUT... it's a drop and can go to the final whenever. Sweet! I'll have it there on Tuesday. Between empty and loaded miles, it's 1750 miles. Definitely my longest run. As a bonus, my final is very close to Baldwinsville. I'll bet ya dollars to donuts I'll be grabbing a Budweiser load. I love pulling loads out of that place. They are either lengthy, or they go to Cleveland. Both choices are good. If it's lengthy, it's profitable. If it's going to Cleveland, that means I get a night at home. Win win. Where I am now was my first fuel stop for this trip. You know it's a long trip when you have two stops on your fuel solution and they both say "fill" :biggrin_2559: Alrighty guys, I need to grab some sleep, so I'm signing off. I hope you guys had a great day. Be safe out there. Keep the rubber side down, and check your pins. Peace.

You ever been to that place in Fulton? It can kinda be creepy as hell at night lol. But they are super quick. Also we have multiple customers in Fulton so may not get Baldwinsville. The places in Fulton are good long loads though

I almost forgot to mention something. If you're ever on 30 in Arkansas and need a place to grab a 10, this Love's just put in another lot across the street, so there is a ton of parking now. Good job, Love's :) It's exit 46.

I won't be able to watch the game tonight, sadly. But if my boys win, they'll clinch the division. Browns are 0 and 13. As in "Oh...13 games have been played?" :biggrin_2559::biggrin_2559::biggrin_2559:

Hello Truckerland. Hope y'all are happy and safe out there. Tonight I'm in White House, Tennessee. So very grateful to be out of Arkansas. I was originally going to head up into Kentucky a bit, but decided to stay here. I stopped off for a shower to wash off the slime and depression that goes with Arkansas, and changed my trip plan. I wanted to get to my final on Tuesday with enough time left to grab another load. BUT, if I do that I won't have a lot of time to play with after my dnh. So my new plan is to get to Weedsport Tuesday night. I'll fuel up, grab a 10, go drop my load, and I'll have another 8 hours left to play with. Good enough. It honestly wouldn't make much of a difference to grab my next load Tuesday evening vs. Wednesday morning due to my hours. So tonight I'm gonna catch up on sleep then head to my home truck stop. Gonna have dinner with mama then go back to the truck to sleep. I'll head to Weedsport from there in the morning. My final is really close to the terminal, so everything is lined up perfect. I could have stretched my day out a little today but it just won't make enough of a difference. So, here I sit typing this post and about to get a boatload of sleep. Amen to that. Today was pretty smooth on all fronts, nothing exciting to report. It's been a fantastic day. And I'm so happy to be in redneck territory as opposed to hillbilly territory. What a difference. I'm among my people :) That's all I have for today, catch you guys tomorrow. Be safe out there, as always. Keep the rubber side down and check your pins. Peace y'all.

Well this has been an interesting day. Sitting at the 285/75 split heading to Conyers this morning, and next thing I know we hear a loud ### noise....I look towards drivers window and there is our driver side mirror flying in pieces as the stupid muther f'er just keeps on going. Dude had to be doing 50mph while we were at a dead stop, but unfortunately for him....he was caught on candid camera hahahaha. Hopefully the jack ### is currently headed for the unemployment office.
