The old guy at superior beverage in Glenwillow finally retired. They cleared everything out of the guardhouse and now you just drive in and check in at shipping.

 

The one with the dog?

 

Yeah, the dog and vette are gone for good. Doesn’t look like they are going to replace him. They removed his computer and everything else from the guard house. Put up a sign that says check in at receiving.

 

The one time I was there he was telling me all the rules they had and how strict they were and while they were unloading the trailer this guy drives up to sell me lunch. I suspect he didn't hear the same bit about rules like I did.

 

Yep I was offered a hot dog and soda Thursday by the vendor.

 

I liked them.. I can't even remember what the dog looked like just that there was one and that he was cool. Good on him for retiring, though. I've still got 15 more years.

 

They were good too. I delivered some place that had a good truck that stuck around while I was parking that was even better. Much better than what I'd planned on having for lunch that day too

 

Graphics Packaging in Brooklyn actually got rid of the telephone poles in front of the docks. After they said it couldn’t be done!

 

Nice! That place should be a piece of cake now, then.

 

Indiana built a pretty nice rest area on I 65 south. Just pass Hebron.
