Hadn’t been to Kohler in Huntsville for a couple of years. Still a cluster pulling into that place. Lol the guard doesn’t fool around. Have to stop at stop sign on street, sign says one truck at a time at guard house. Guy behind me pulls in and blocks entrance and exit.
Guard and driver get into a discussion of driver having to back back out onto street. Driver is upset. Next thing you know guard is banning the guy from the property. Happened in the matter of minutes.

First time I was there it was a PITA. second time it wasn't bad at all. That place was the perfect example of a place that wasn't designed for trucks being used for trucks, not that that slowed them down in using it that way.
MIT Thanks this. -
Bill in Trenton retires in August. They will be shutting down the school in Trenton when he does.
-
Harold in Texas retires same. Pretty sure the school will continue though.

Seems like I’m riding the nostalgia train. Been a couple years since I was at MSI in Edison Nj. Still as congested and messy as ever. First stop of the day was at Manhattan Beverage.
Still undecided Thanks this. -
That's sad. That's where I went to school and Bill is a good instructor even if he is kind of quirky. Good for him being able to retire though. From some of the conversations we had when I was going to school, he's been looking forward to it for a while.

Yeah I have been hearing about his retirement for the last 5 years. Going to miss him. Could always count on him to go through my permit book and update it along with a story.

Going to start seeing red millis trucks out there. They say they are from CFI, but I’m guessing since cfi and heartland both run red trucks eventually it will be a permanent thing here at Millis.

As someone who grew up in the flat wide open spaces of the Midwest I would have hated going to school there. They needed more room there for the school too, what room they had for the school will come in handy for the drivers waiting for another load.
