I would say a lot of people getting into trucking don't have a pot to piss in. They're not going to have $500.

 

That is true. Some if not most have nothing. Just think you pay that 500 and get with your trainer. He/she/they ain't worth 2 nickels. So then your possibly not learning, with high chance of no miles or less than 1800. That means no money. Not good on people's mental health

 

So you tell the head of training you and your trainer aren’t getting along and need a new trainer. Millis will(at least they used to) accommodate you until you find 1 you click with.

And some of the companies take advantage of that, knowing some drivers don't have any other options.

 

On a completely different subject, I hope none of y'all are in that mess in western NC right now. Avoid that area at all costs if you ain't already stuck there.

 

Seen a post on Reddit that there is big flooding over that way.

 

Only way in or out of Asheville right now is helicopter.
