Hope everyone had a good Christmas. I haven't posted in awhile but always lurking. I used to work with Millis out of the Weedsport terminal before it closed in 2021. I remember reading on here recently there are very few Millis loads in NY State anymore. I used to go to / from several places in NY when I worked there. I have noticed when I am on the Thruway I do not see Millis trucks like I used to. Used to go to from the pasta factory in Avon, paper rolls from Little Falls, various beer loads to the Rochester, Utica, Syracuse and Elmira areas, Milk Bone dog biscuits from Buffalo, once in awhile paper related loads from Governour to name a few. Any of these still around?

On Christmas Eve day I saw a Millis day cab pulling a Millis trailer getting on
I-81 northbound in Syracuse. Day cabs in that area were always non existent. Just wondering if anyone has an idea what that day cab may have been doing?

 

There are still loads in that area just far and few between. Not sure about the day cab

Hope you guys have found somewhere to be away from these storms we've been having for a while.

 

Do they still do loads out of NAB in Rochester? I tell you one thing...I sure don't miss going there. But I guess it was a good thing because it helped prepare me for all the indoor maneuvering that I have to do nowadays.

Hey anyone know about the Millis truck number sequence? Any idea how old trucks 1852 or 1654 would be?
