What is the per diem pay like at Millis? Is the rate I was shown on the pay sheet including the per diem or is the per diem added?

 

Yes no more trailer tails on trailers except for the old ones. As for new trailers... it's been a few years since Millis got new ones.

 

New trailers. Lmfao. Old heartland trailers.

 

Those seemed like a good idea until it was time to use them. I'm surprised the old trailers still have them given the way they would self destruct with use.

 

Do they still raise hell when somebody gets reported for not deploying their tails on the trailers that have rhem? I can't remember the last time I saw one with the tails opened so I'm guessing they quit caring about that.

What has changed lately? I know they started forcing you to fuel at rheir provided fuel solution. Can you still send for a new one if you're taking a different route from the route suggestion? I remember getting much laughter from someone (I think it was my mom) when I was explaining to them what happened when we were sent a load and I said something like "and a suggested route which we all ignore..."

 

You can use manual fuel route request. If you don't use it before you pick up load you might lose guaranteed pay.

Good luck. The old timers are just holding on to retire, the others are looking elsewhere and then the rest are just trying to get experience.

 

I hate to say it but heartland needs to hurry up and rebrand all three companies so we all can have freight. Then we could run all 48 and not just 7 states. But idk

 

Yeah the trailer tails are a thing of the past no one cares anymore. What happens with fuel solutions is if you fuel outside of the solution you lose guaranteed minimum pay for the week or month I don't know which.
