Millis OTR journal

Pat was my dispatcher. I liked him. He took care of me. Was a very no nonsense kind of guy. Told me where to go and when I had to be there and not a lot of small talk. Just how I liked it.

 

I hardly ever talked with Opie. Usually it was when there was a problem with a customer or there was something he wanted help with like checking on a trailer a customer was using for storage or something like that. Everything else was done with the Qualcomm, simple and with a copy to look at later if needed.

 

How's the miles at millis?

 

Hmmmm

 

Last week for Richfield and Eden schools. Both getting shutdown. Eden school property getting sold.

 

That sucks. I liked parking up there. Very very quiet. So no more fuel in Eden either, I suppose.

 

Saw a millis truck pulling a cfi trailer yesterday..then this is WV few days ago

 

And Heartland said the schools were one of the reasons they wanted to buy Millis.

 

Heartland is sinking… They’ve had seven consecutive losing quarters. We’ll see come October when the new quarterly reports come out if they’ve had eight consecutive quarters making two years in a row

 

So how long before everything is heartland or liquidated? Between smith, cfi, and millis they have plenty stuff to sell.
