Millis OTR journal

That's a shame, especially on the dispatch side, there were some really good dispatchers in Black River Falls when I was there.

 

I have been noticing a lot more mismatched trucks and trailers. Saw a Millis truck pulling a Heartland trailer a couple of days ago and saw a Smith truck with a Millis trailer today.

So I guess that means Dan and Dave are gone now? Kat?

My son has been talking about getting into trucking lately and I don't really want him to, but if he wants to do it anyhow I would like to point him in the right direction as far as starter companies go. Is Millis still a good place to train with? I know they were awesome when I trained with them. in particular I liked getting mileage pay while out with a trainer and just a CLP. I'm sure all that has changed now though.

Y'all throw your suggestions out there. He's in Tampa.

The article says no changes at Millis for the time being.

 

I'm not really sure if he has a preference. But since he does have family he would probably be better off to be regional but that might be hard in Florida.

 

The Millis schools were top notch. At least Trenton was. He may be better off going to Cartersville and then to heartland unfortunately.

 

Yeah Greg is still around. Hoping that Gary continues what Greg has built when it comes to training. Time will tell. Lot has changed over past 6 months.

 

It didn't take long for my ability to remember which companies had the most boneheads driving for them driving out to see family the other day. Nothing seems to have changed at Werner since I've been retired.
