My trainer gave me a $49.99 microwave when I was done training and I was impressed with how well it held up. The people that say new stuff doesn't last like it used to were wrong about that.
I'm glad you're doing ok MIT and wish you the best in your new gig. -
Lol today was classic. Picked up a loadin Canandaigua NY yesterday afternoon. Made it to Truck World in Conneaut, OH. Supposed to drop in Trenton. Take off this morning get a message to stop by Columbus terminal and give dispatch a call. So i get there to terminal call in and they want me to do a random the day before my last day. I think thats my first one since starting.
hotrod1653, FullMetalJacket, Dennixx and 6 others Thank this. -
Now that is a dramatic sense of irony-getting a drug screen before you quit!!!lmaoSpeedy356, Still undecided, MIT and 2 others Thank this.

Funny how that works.
Retired 1st of the year but I'll be danged if I didn't get pulled for a random 2 weeks before I left.
Made me wonder how "random" it really was since a positive would preclude them paying my pension.
Joke was on them as I pull 700 a month in addition to SSMIT, Still undecided, Rugerfan and 5 others Thank this. -
Every company is the same it just depends on how much thought/time the desk jockeys invest into some things that are pointless.
But that's where 'You Can't Fix Stupid' comes into play. -
Fly out to either Winter Haven Florida or Clovis New Mexico for orientation on Monday. For Indian River. Looking forward to the new experience. I have a few friends that have worked for Indian River and a friend who is there now working out of their Fair Oaks yard/barn.
Still undecided, FullMetalJacket, Lonesome and 2 others Thank this. -

I wish you well there my friend. I was a tanker tanker for a few months and hated it. Something was always leaking, the hoses were stiff and didn't connect like they should and the surge takes some getting used to. The pay was good but confusing, different rates for loaded and unloaded plus my detention pay was always argued about. I left after about 3 1/2 months and got $3,400 in detention pay that was due me before I left only because I found the right person to talk to at HQ.MIT Thanks this.
