Walk into office to check in for delivery 16 minutes early, get the really, you're bothering us, can't you see we are busy playing on our phones look and tone.

Told "Come back at your appt time for a dock number"

16 minutes later get the really, you're bothering us, can't you see we are still busy playing on our phones look and tone.

Get dock number, which there has been nobody in since before I arrived so I could have gotten backed in and ahead of the game a little since I'm having a Stevie Wonder backing day today and it took some time but no.

An hour later.... dock plate not even down yet.

 

Gotta love days like that (not)!

 

So Im considering switching tp straight pay for this yr since Im going to need a home loan. My question is is the only "perk" offered now by Millis for being per diem is the mileage bonus and vacation pay? Everything else is the same for straight and per diem right?

 

Don't remember how all the per diem stuff was so....

I get paid my rate per mile, 1 CPM safety bonus per quarter, and another CPM at year end I am assuming but haven't gotten that far yet' and fuel bonus.

That's the straight pay plan in a nutshell... at least to me.

Ok I'll be going to training in Feb I was wondering about per diem vs straight pay I thought per diem was like money given for food i.e my friend works for a company and he's on per diem and the money is sent to his card so my question is the money they take out for per diem where does it go
