Wassup y'all. Greetings from Lexington SC. I haven't posted since I got back in my truck, so I'm due. My trip home has put me in an antisocial mood, so I haven't even looked at social media since I climbed in my ride. If I wait any longer I'll have to go through my Qualcomm to remember where I've been. It's a pain and I don't like being reminded that the road erases your memory. I got a load from home sending me to the normal destination of Fairburn Georgia, but it wasn't a Smuckers load, which is odd. It was a Purina load out of Zanesville going to a location extremely close to the DCS place I go to for Smuckers. By the time I got there I was extremely low on time. So, I grabbed an empty and headed to the local truck stop a couple miles away. I'm not a huge fan of that place up til now, but it isn't too bad once I actually gave it a chance. It was friggin quiet, that's for sure. I slept like a baby. I had to go from there to Augusta to pick up a load today. It didn't pick up until 1pm, and was 3 hours away. So not only was my sleep peaceful, it was looooong. I didn't even bother setting an alarm. That's the most sleep I've ever had in my truck, by a lot. I was at the shipper for a little over four hours, which was irritating. Again my frustration with appointment times. I have to be there when you demand, but I have to sit and wait on you because your GD product isn't ready. Awesome. I didn't drive far to get here, because of parking. I'm not in the mood to pay for parking this soon after leaving home. Fortunately, and unfortunately, I have all the time in the world to get this load to it's final. It's a 1k mile run and it isn't due until Tuesday morning. So it won't even count on this week's check. I won't be sad when the holiday season ends and work gets back to normal. I'm head to some tiny town I've never heard of in New York, and this time I prepared for it. I'm not sure how long I'll be there, so I bought a carton of smokes in Georgia. 14 bucks a pack is a crime against humanity. You can keep your ridiculous high cost of living, New Yorkers. And your weather and attitude as well. There is nothing up there that is special enough to justify any of those things. I'm not gonna move hard and fast to get up there, because there's no point. Tomorrow I'm gonna shower at my fuel stop and hit a Walmart and land wherever the spirit calls. I'll figure it out when the time comes. If I had any family or friends along the way I'd try to make a visit, but I don't. I'm hoping I don't get stuck in a storm, but it doesn't look like anything nasty is coming. By the way, thanks @keen98 for reminding me I need cat litter. I never restocked my truck and I'll be grabbing some tomorrow. Along with some more alcohol for my wiper fluid reservoir. It's that time of year, gotta love it. That's all I have for tonight, time to settle in and grab some sleep. Hope you're all doing well out there in Truckerland. Be safe out there. Keep the rubber down and check your pins. Peace y'all.

Just remember corn flakes work as well....lmao. im guessng Fruity Pebbles could do the trick also haha....and I'm with you I'm ready for work to be back to normal. These screwed up weeks suck, and I'm ready for the holiday travelers to take their ### back home! I was in stop n go traffic from the beginning of the WV turnpike alllllllll the way till the last tollbooth on Weds and I still don't know why. No wrecks, no cops, not a #### thing out of the ordinary except traffic. I lost 1 hour from 1st toll booth to the last on the Pike.
