Hoosick Falls. That name is still making me giggle lol.

 

I drove for a whole six hours today, I'm exhausted! I have to go 571 miles in the next 2.5 days. I think I'm gonna crack under the pressure, guys.

 

Good morning Truckerland. There won't be a status update today because I've decided to stay put and do a 34. My hours have been weirdly erratic because of the holiday and I don't want to deal with goofy hours when Opie gets back. I have a truck stop in New York targeted for tomorrow that will get me within 60 miles of my final. Sadly, there is nothing closer due to the roads I'v chosen. I have also decided to stop fighting the fact that my least favorite topic keeps coming up here on my threads. So, I am going to lay out actual numbers using my full year's mileage from 2017. And (hopefully) present it in a way that can be easily digested. That way folks can look at them and decide for themselves. It'll be a lengthy post, I apologize for that ahead of time. Afterwards, it's football time. I'm gonna go watch my boys play and hopefully not lose. It would be an incredible embarrassmnt to be the only team to lose to the Browns, but it could happen. It's a guarantee that Tomlin will benching all of our good players for most of the game. If we lose, you'll hear me screaming all the way from Virginia.

I appreciate the offer! However, I've been parked since 2pm yesterday. I can't move or I'll interrupt my 34. You are welcome to come here if you wish This truck stop is something to behold. It holds 750 trucks and it's gigantic inside. It's like the baby brother of Iowa 80. And, there is a sports bar with about a million tvs across the street, where my butt will be parked after my per diem post and some breakfast.
