Yes it was. I had a lot fun growing up there. My favorite was riding my three wheeler on the farm.
Shock Therapy and Vic Firth Thank this. -
I just can't see it being calles a conplete weekend at home when you get there really late Friday night or early Saturday. For most company's as soon as the last hour of your 34 hour restart is up you are expected to be rolling. If it was not for the restart rule most drivers would not get home time at all. I'm a 3rd generation driver and it is not easy to be a family make and drive for a living. You do have a better chance of getting real home time if your O/O. There is less hands in the pay pot lol. I have personally only heard good things about Millis.
Steelersjunkie, JOHNQPUBLIC, FalconsFan21 and 1 other person Thank this. -
For what it’s worth, my two buddies that drive Regional at Millis said they are ALWAYS home on Friday, usually by lunch time or early afternoon, and it is always their choice week to week whether to roll out Monday morning or Sunday afternoon/evening for a long run.
Now that is my “standard” for weekend Hometime with Regional, so if I ever did it I would want it to be like that.
Gonzo1300, Shock Therapy, Lwood53 and 2 others Thank this. -
My student who went Midwest Regional has said same thing. Also said hes been home at least 1 night thru the week for his 10 hr break.

been doing some serious research lately on Millis & other regional companies, I'm leaning toward Millis a lot. I like what I hear far as pay & home time. The cameras aren't a deal breaker for me as long as I can talk on my headset, eat/ drink while driving I'm good. The home time is the biggest thing, because I got f#**#* from the last company before I went local. Thank you to everybody that's been giving helpful info on this forum
FalconsFan21, Gonzo1300 and Shock Therapy Thank this. -
I talk on headset all the time, and eat or drink when I want and nothings ever been said.
