Technology has different meanings at different times. SJ listed all of his "technology" but didn't mention the refrigerator because it (the refrigerator) is a part of everyday life. But it wasn't always the case....
An interesting read here: A Brief History Of The Refrigerator
Of course there is Arthur C. Clarke's famous quote "Any sufficiently advanced technology is indistinguishable from magic."
If anyone could be brought to the present from the past a lot of things we take for granted would be considered magic to them. To some, the refrigerators were magic when they first came out.
Ten years from now there will be some new technology not currently used, and when someone makes a post like SJ did, they will not list the phones and computers and scanners because they will have become part of every day life and not considered new technology any more, something else will.

You guys kill me,,, in a good way. Blowin’ snot bubbles from laughing.

In Trenton for the night. Delivered to Sam Adams in Cincinnati this morning. That was an interesting experience.
Been out about three weeks and William was cool with me taking the afternoon off. So here I sit in Trenton, last load of clothes washing now and doin’ Spring cleaning on the inside of my truck. Got my Wally World run done but went over on my off duty driving. Diane wrote me no sooner than I set the brakes that she fixed it. Nice lady. She knew what I was doing.
Anyway, gonna hit ready call about the time William walks in tomorrow morning.
Oh yeah, looks like Trenton has filled in some of those potholes on the left side of the yard.FalconsFan21, Waterboy334 and Steelersjunkie Thank this.
