What's wrong with the 2019 trucks? Seems more people would prefer not to upgrade...

Most people don't want the 2019's because of the new Elog updates that come with it, other then that it's a good truck.

Elogs have nothing to do with the 2019 trucks. Im in a 2017 and I've got the newer QC etc. My reasoning for not wanting the new trucks is becausr of the lane mitigation and speed limit identifier crap thats on them. I had a 2018 with 150miles when I picked it up and the bells and whistles that are on them is over the top. I voluntarily gave it up for my 2017. As a trainer, with students who are already nervous, I dont want or need more beeps and rumbles going off and in turn turning camera on and then the student paying attention to that crap. Its an unneeded distraction

Congrats. I'm sure you have already said where, but for us slower older fellers, which location will you be going for training?

Ok, My class start date is 5/29/18 at the Trenton Terminal. That being said, I have been getting some personal items in order. I'm a single guy, so I wont need to worry about a couple things. What I have done so far in preparation for being away for extended periods of time, I have changed mail delivery to a P.O. Box locally. I have my prescriptions coming via mail and 90 days at a time instead of the 30 day interval at the local CVS. I have all of my monthly bills set up on auto pay. I still need to inform my bank of my career change so my debit card will work at any POS terminal that I choose. I have already made arrangements for my cousin to keep my yard mowed and frequent checks on my house. I still need to inform my tax professional of my career change in order for me to be able to make a more informed decision as to take the tax advantage pay scale or the straight pay program.
What am I overlooking? Also for you seasoned professionals, what did you do to prepare and what would you have done differently?
