Three days of orientation in Trenton this week, then out with my trainer. Here we go.

Met my trainer today. He seemed like a really good guy. Just got to chat briefly.

That's the hardest part of class. Trying to make it through three days of orientation without falling asleep

As it turns out, they sent me right back up there today! I owe you a beer or whatever your favorite DOT-approved beverage is, as your way in was a heck of a lot better.

On a completely unrelated note: I need pointers on how to properly setup to back into the docks at the Menards stores (at least how most of them are.) This was something that my trainer was less than helpful with and I know that sooner or later I'm going to be sent to one. The usual 45 and 90 degree setups won't work for obvious reasons. Last time I was at one, I wiggled my wagon around for what seemed like eternity before I finally was able to get it in the dock.

Glad it worked out better for ya, I just lucked out with my memory of the area.

Can't really help with the Menards thing, the ones I went to (maybe half a dozen) were all fairly easy set ups, don't remember having one that was a real cluster. All I can say it stick with it, it will get easier every day. You won't really notice it with the backing until one day you do something to get into a dock and it seems not to hard and then you realize something along the lines of "Holy ####, there's no way I could have done that 3-4 months ago"

    Airmech and Farmer54 Thank this.

Man oh man, I put the hex on both of us, I had to go into that area today to do a drop and hook and have to go back twice tomorrow. Haven't been down there since I was working in the area years ago and all the sudden it's everywhere o_O

Somebody somewhere has figured out who I am!

There will be hell to pay for this I tell ya, HELL!!!

I really think it's my trainer that did it to me. We didn't really get along and he knew how much I disliked going to Coca-Cola in Cincinnati so I'm wondering if maybe he told our dispatcher "Send him all the Westrock loads going to Coca-Cola! He likes that place!"

I'm just curious... are you talking about the place on Duck Creek Rd?
